Appears the CPDN XML data dumps from the CPDN server(s) with credits, etc have been restored to an OLD BACKUP COPY as it is showing I LOST 15,959 points today and the PROJECT AS A WHOLE has lost 625,892,502 points. |

Because the VM that the database was kept on was corrupting it,I don't know how far back they have had to go to ensure a clean restore. There may well be some jiggery pokery (technical term) to restore credit and records of tasks lost on the system but I guess this will have to wait until the perhaps more important task of actually getting the project running again has been completed. |

Yes Carl, you know so well. Yet the one thing I haven't seen you do is offer your supreme knowledge to the project's admin(s) to help out. That's a BOINC thing as well, you know, where those who know help out those who don't? Instead it's been a litany of flaming and a display of narcissistic egotistic superiority. I thought better of you before this. You've fallen flat on your face, in my opinion. Sad. |

nobody is doing this sort of ensemble climate modelling Really? There has over the past few years been a substantial number of work requests from universities all over the world to Oxford to send out work using the met office models. While not enough to produce a constant flow of work, there is certainly work going on. I would say there is a need for some more up to date programming for this work rather than relying on code that the project does not own and does not have a license to modify but that is a separate issue. |

Honestly, watching CPDN devolve is like re-watching Trump taking over the USA and ruining that! ;-) Nobody can compare to Donald. |

The scripts were completely rewritten last year, and the new ones are much faster. The two were running together for some months, until the present problems, but it looks like the daily exports are back, so the new lot are running. |
