I have used this program for some time. I most say that I like the screensaver that was created for it.
the graphics can be enhanced a bit; but, for the most part is great it is.

However, I Do have a problem with it. I don't like the logo at the bottom. Every effort has been made to prevent a burn in image on the moniters, hance the rotating image with the flying stars. But, someone forgot to remove the Globe, SETI@Home and definition at the bottom.

I know, I know. Burn in images is not cummon in todays moniters, "So I read". But I rather, as other would be as well, be on the safe side and not have my LCD or "future" Plasma moniter with a Burn-In image.

I wish I could write the program for the modifications and enhansments, seeing that I know some programming. But currently that is not my field, not to mention I havev't got the money to buy the programs required to do so.

In all, I would like someone, to remove the static logo.

If nessessary, have it created as a revolving image.

1. Increase the size of the plate by 100%
2. Rotate the planet on its axes
to the right
3. Have that rotating planet move across the
bottom of the screen from Left to right.
(Appearing on the Left egde of the screen,
Desapearing on the right edge)
3. Have the "SETI@HOME" logo appear behind
the planet as this passes the center of
the screen.
Think of, SETI@HOME centered on the screen
as the planet comes to the letter "S" that
letter becomes visible and it apears as it
passes. than the same for the next letter,
until all the letters have been activated.
Once that is done, the letters would
beggin to fade out as the planet has
reached the mid-distance from the "E"
from "HOME" and the screen edge with the
planet has disapeared.

All of that in the current screensaver it wold be perfect for all that use it.

Note that most projects have screensavers, and they'll be different from each other.

Having said that, the recommendation on all projects is to run without the screensaver, since it wastes both electrical power on having the screen displayed when it's not necessary, and also takes CPU power away from whatever is being processed. Try the 'show graphics' button instead, when you want to see what's going on.
