Hello all, I am not a linux/fedora guru so Ineed help with this. It seems F25 is not allowing communication through the port needed, or some other permissions are needed. Does anyone know about this? Step by step intructions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Dave

Please see this thread which answers the same problem: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=11530 There is a link with step by step instructions in there too. This thread is not shown in the standard search because it is older than 30 days. I had to tweak the advanced search a bit to find it.

I just tried several times and it did not work on F25. Those steps are for F24, but they should have been good for my install. I don't get it.
