All of a sudden the estimated time to completion for jobs is WAY out of whack. rosetta is showing 22702:31:00 hms causing boinc to enter earliest-deadline-first scheduling because computer is overcommitted for a 1 hour job. The estimated time comes down at a rapid rate but won't allow other projects to download tasks due to overcommitment. Anyone know what I need to edit to fix this issue up? |

All of a sudden the estimated time to completion for jobs is WAY out of whack. Most likely a problems with the duration correction factor. Did you recently change your runtime prefernces over there? I think the DCF is in the client state xml file. However I wouldn't go screwing around with it unless you are confident that you know what you are doing. Give it time and it'll come down on its own. ARe you on dial-up where you need to keep your cache full or are you always on where BOINC can connect as need be? Kathryn :o) |

I didn't change anything just prior to it having a fit. DSL connection, but it's annoying having only one project able to be run due to preempting not working. |
