Hello volunteers, I am a new volunteer to BOINC projects, I knew about this area when I was searching for a topic for my master dissertation (Cyber Security and Management). I am passionate about the projects because it is such a good way to allow people help scientists and all of them collaborate for a better world. Hence, my study focused on the retention of volunteers. In my study I am looking on how can I improve the retention of volunteers specifically, looking into the security and privacy issues. I would like to gather your expert opinions through the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HM56XBZ this survey is the basis for my study, I believe that in order to improve volunteer computing reputation we all need to work with each other. Thank you for your support regards arwa |

It'd be cool if the survey was checkboxes instead of radio buttons. It'd be neat to see a BOINC environment setup on projectatomic: http://www.projectatomic.io/ |

Thank you for participating, The study is intended to enhance the user experience by identifying the concerns and issues. These issues cover the security pillars: confidentiality, integrity, and availability of volunteers devices. If you have any feedback please leave some comments below, These feedbacks will be analysed along with number of experiments and interviews conducted. The short survey above is intended to capture some major points, where we can use the form to discuss more in depth. Thank you in advance, |
