Hi,
ea user account has its own boinc client.I would like some direction on transfering the unfinished work units from one profile to the other. What do I transfer? W2k3server profiles. Thx

Is there an irc channel for boinc?

Suggestion:
Ever think of condensing the forum into a faq and answer post. I would imagine that the forum breaks down in to several topics that could be summarized in a FAQ and answer. People using the forum would have less matieral to sort through, and people might get their issue solved quicker and get more units processed. Please don't read the wrong tone into this suggestion. My comment is only meant to improve a good resource, especially since as far as forums go boinc is fairly small and well maintained.

The FAQ has existed for about a year as the Unofficial BOINC Wiki.
But you may not like it; it's a repository of technical information, and the hard bit is knowing what words to put into the search option.

It's hard to transfer individual work units. That's why offline computers are not supported at the moment. But you can transfer the Boinc directory as a whole. But I shouldn't do it as a habit.
