I may be missing something here, but it seems that this new version does not have the ability to hide when I am sinished looking at the interface.

It starts out hid OK, but as soon as you open the manager, there is not option to re-hide it

Was this removed, or is this just an Oops -and is it going to be added back?

Just press the X in the upper right corner. That will hide it to the system tray.

I'm running BOINC 5.4.11 on an AMD 3.2 machine running Windows XP Home SP2, and BOINC doesn't hide for me, either. Clicking on the red X has no effect.

[edit] I tried exiting BOINC and restarting it, and now it works fine. When in doubt, turn it off and turn it back on. ;)
