A new version of BOINC is ready for public use. You can download it here. See the release notes and version history for details.

Changes Include:

* Updated localizations
* Updated libcurl, openssl, and VirtualBox (for packages that include VirtualBox)
* Fixed VirtualBox detection for Mac and Linux
* Fixed numerous issues detected via coverity source code scans.
* Fixed how elapsed time is displayed in the manager
* Fixed localized number formatting issues
* Fixed crash analysis code in the manager (Windows Only)
* Fixed GPU detection issues
* Fixed minimum password text in attach wizard
* Fixed clipping of the project icons in the simple GUI (Windows Only)

Confusion.
You are announcing Version 7.6.22 of BOINC, released for general public use for Windows and Macintosh on December 30, 2015.
But when I check my version , I noticed I'm using 7.6.9
How come can this be?

I guess it goes like: 7.6.9 you are using is actually 7.6.09 ... and 22 is upwards from 09.
