I keep getting this now. And the sad thing is this happened to me once before, and I was given a solution of using the "run" command and boinc.exe redirecto or something like that. I can't, for the life of me remember the command, and because this is a new imaged HD for other reasons, I don't have the command saved in the history. Anyone help me? It works like a charm, but I never wrote it down anywhere like to help, that's me! |

I got the answer, and it works for me perfectly. In case it helps anyone else, this is all I have to do. Start>Run> "C:\\Program Files\\BOINC\\boinc.exe" -redirectio Truthfully, I have no idea how it works, but it does. It starts up Boinc and leaves it in the background like it's supposed to in the first place. I do have manually close the command window, but everything stays running. And, after I do this, I can reboot and don't need to do it again, either. Something, somewhere loses something in the startup or registry values, and this seems to fix it. If it helps, great. If not, sorry to have wasted your time. like to help, that's me! |
