Bernie didn't denigrate you. Oh, I dunno about that, doesn't every mod action insinuate something? I sometimes consider them personal attacks. Meow? |

Oh, Bernie, Bernie, Bernie. I only bother to watch your you tube clips when someone reports them. So I have no idea what you are rambling on about. I, unlike you, am serious. Threats or insinuations made on public forums have to have consequences. You have implied you are reading mine and possibly others private communications. That needs to be investigated. |

It's about a guy who's a knight in shining armor, except he lives in a world where knights don't exist anymore. But I do. And such knights carry among other things, words as their weapons. And such words can wound or heal, as needed and appropriate. He who considers what is appropriate is the knight himself, as he carries himself as a king rather than a knight. But he shall always remain a knight, as he lives among those he considers as equals rather than subjects. When his equals call him down, he remembers what he has done for them, and stands down gracefully, but not without comment. For they, he knows, shall need their knight in shining armor one again, even to this forsaken day. Meow. |

Oh, Bernie, Bernie, Bernie. Investigate all you wish, my 'friend'. If you really want to dig into my comms and yours, you shall find nothing concrete. My IP address changes ever hour or so. Untraceable, unreachable. There was a reason long ago I set up my access NOT to have a static IP address. I can change it several times a minute if I wish to, controlled by my router. You are jousting at ghosts, dear Bernie. And having fits of angst over nothing. If you were really afraid of me, you would not post a thing out of fear you would be hacked. You, Bernie, are posturing worse than I ever have. Meow. |

Ya gotta stick around for a while on this clip........... I know that acapella ain't everybody's schtick. I have loved it since my teens when PPM first came on the scene. Vocal harmony has always been my thing since. I love single, beautiful voices. Joan Baez has one. But, even simpler talents and voices become wonderful when mixed. [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5oIorP3ruo]This is an example. You have to get over the fluff and get on to about 4 minutes into the clip. Anna Kendrik is superb. The whole script is scrubbed and it just comes down to singing. |

Let's get on with it. I am sorry I did not fight nor die in the Vietnam conflict. I have suffered survivor's guilt since then. Big Muddy...] I can go on forever with the songs of that era....for THAT I did live through. Men far more worthy than my sorry old arse died there by the hundreds. I actually set out my task for this weekend to go back and collect the songs of that time. Which is actually harder than it sounds, as I have lost most of my memory concerning. As was said in the movie 'Knowing'...it's not a blessing, it's a curse. Pete Seeger, Dylan, PPM, Woodstock in general. [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qPUJhy0Dz4]What was it we were dying for? I was never called up. I was as confused as others of my age as to why. I just fell through the cracks. One day earlier, one day later, I might not be here talking to you. I did not dodge. I simply was not called to enlist. I was a wild eyed young teenager playing with my cars and such....had little enlightenment about the war. If you did not pick up on it by now, I was a slightly emotionally impaired young man. I now am a slightly emotionally impaired OLD man. I don't say these things for sympathy. I just am getting to the point where I do not understand just where I fitted in to the whole picture. If my less than lucid memories are not enough to keep me going, I guess it's time to Ramble On......forever. Sometimes I grow so tired of being a historian and whipping boy. Time to ramble on, I think. I came from kpax, so I guess I can go anywhere I wish. But I think I am done with this world and it's constant pain. Laters, babys. Don't expect me back anytime soon. The Levee has Broken. Meow. |

Quite sober, actually. Just starting to acknowledge the facts. Hard truths at 59yo. Maybe I have wasted 15 of those years on Seti... Dunno, but I have contributed much to the effort, even if pissed in the wind. It has been my life for a long long long time. I have spent years of my life and a lot of time and money thrown at it. I am not sorry for having done so, just at the moment about to turn a page, my friend. Might the wind blow the page just back to where it was? Perhaps. Might the winds of change be so strong as to lead me in another direction? Perhaps. I could have a fine retirement on what I have spent on Seti over the last ten years or so. Not to be. |

I am sorry I did not fight nor die in the Vietnam conflict. I have suffered survivor's guilt since then. Gee, sorry you missed getting spit on and called a baby killer by the Libtards of the day, as I experienced with my "friends" the moment word of my enlistment got out. But more seriously, sorry you missed the great dope we were smoking, the sense of comradery and discipline we had, and the practical skills and life lessons we learned. Simple fact is that like me, most Vietnam Vets never even saw land in Southeast Asia, but were support troops. So I'm a Vietnam-era vet but do not presume to call myself a Vietnam Vet, technically anyone who served up until the fall of Saigon in 1975. That may be a sense of what you feel? I was never called up. I was as confused as others of my age as to why. Well, if you're 59 now, as I believe you mentioned elsewhere, you didn't get drafted because the draft had ended well before you turned 18. I remember the timing vividly, as I enlisted just after I turned 17, and I'm now 60. The draft formally ended 6/30/73, two months after my enlistment, but I think the last actual call-ups were in 1972. I now am a slightly emotionally impaired OLD man. Aren't we all. Meow. Back atcha ... |

What do you think I retired on............... Over a half million................in cash. Not on the premises, certainly. Don't bother knocking. Business is off the property, dudes. You want it, I got it. Just walk the way I want you to walk and nobody gets hurt. Delivery is on Tuesdays, as the saying goes. I put out when and where I want out. Not you. Just a message to dos hombres. My turf, not yours. Now back off. |

Oh, sorry... Did I miss something.................... I did not hide in Canada. My numbers did not come up in the lottery of death. I am still a member of the NRA./ Where did I go wrong, except to die in the VN conflict? Stop? or just slow down? |
