The O2MDF search on GPU(s) is producing results at a rate that we didn't expect. As a result, the file system of our upload server ("einstein4") is completely flattened out, and a number of processes (including the validators) are standing on each others feet to get their share, further slowing things down. To make things worse, the file system is filling up, because also file deletion doesn't work as fast as it should. For now I disabled further uploads (and some other background processes) until things have settled and cooled down a bit.

Main site went down as I was posting a reply to q query from a new cruncher so I now have to wait till it comes back up again to see if my answer made it or not. https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com agrees with me.

SRBase is down due a broken database, a recovery is not possible anymore. I will setup an older backup.

No. My last successful contact was just before 21:00 UTC last night. They're in Barcelona, so make that 22:00 local. My guess is that the server crashed when there was no-one in the lab, and they're just now coming in to a cold office and beginning to wonder what happened.

Edit - bits of it are working again, but they still have more to fix.

All my backed off uploads cleared overnight. I can access the project this morning. Only a couple of posts questioning if anyone else had issues.

Toni simply stated they had an outage. And news of it was only posted via a Twitter tweet. I don't tweet and all my Googling never found that post.
