New RAM was installed on one of the key servers. This new RAM has unfortunately failed. It is anticipated that this downtime will last until tomorrow. I've replied to say Could you please check that all essential servers are working and accessible from the internet before re-starting the project? A lot DID get fixed; now the project people need to get to their work computers to fix the rest, because outside connections aren't working. The project needs external access to servers at the university, which is not normally allowed, for security reasons. We're a bit of a problem for the Oxford people at times. :) However, my backup plan is working fine; I just paused the task that was nearing completion, and started running another task that I had.
