Several projects have moderators now who are not directly from the project staff.

I think it would make their work easier, if they had a way to flag a thread to be read by certain project people.

Example :

A moderator finds a report about a bug that looks critical to him, he could decide to flag it red for "Developers, check asap."

The first developer who reads it, could reset the flag to yellow, meaning "have seen it"

If he finds something that might have a positive effect, he could flag it green "Staff : worth reading"

Currently I cannot think of more flags but there sure are. Maybe an integer with 2 digits would do - up to 99 possible flags (0 for not flagged), corresponding with up to 99 different icons.

Those flag icons (or maybe only flags above 50?) should not be visible to the public, they should be for project internal use.

No need to create 99 icons of course, the projects could choose what they need and copy them to the img directory.
