I only just found out about BOINC after running Classic SETI for several years. I now have both of them running together, and both seem to be working. Should I keep running them together until the SETI Gods shut down Classic? My activity monitor shows that Classic is using far more processor time than BOINC (or any other app).

Seti Classic runs on Normal priority, while the science applications under Boinc run in the lowest possible priority mode, so they really only use CPU idle time.

Why not close Classic down for now and run some Seti through Boinc? See if you like it.
