Lets say I have used another external software to factor out the integer being assigned by YAFU, is there any way to manually submit the factors and complete the task under my username?

These messages boards are for discussion of BOINC, not projects (such as Einstein@home, World Community Grid, and so on). To discuss a project, please use its message boards.

That's a question you should ask on the project forums.
